help 3 sticks or 4?

i have a msi k8n socket 939 mobo with 4 ocz pc4000 memory(4x512). but, the fsb only goes to 333, and there will be a problem when i set any thing above that number. i am usually running in windows xp pro, not a heavy gamer or video editor, but i also have a vista ultimate in my system(dual boot). i was wondering if i use only 3 sticks (1.5G) instill of four and Overclock the FSB to around 240, should this configuration faster than 4 sticks 333fsb? thanks. :cry:

that mobo cannot run 400mhz with all 4 slots filled. if you drop to 3, then you will only be using single channel. So, your solution would be to run two 1gb sticks.

yeah...i agree with splat...run two gig sticks...thats what i do.
