hey guys, i bought a Point-Of-View GeForce 7600GT 256mb DDR2 (128 bits) last week (monday)

since Wednesday of last week i have encountered some problems while i play some games (Joint Operations, Battlefield 2, Guild Wars, F.E.A.R. Combat, etc).
First 2 days i was playing it ok, Joint Operations at Highest + 2x FSAA + Anisotropic High (~50fps), Guild Wars Highest + Shadows on (~65fps), etc

Now i'm playing Joint Operations at High + 2xFSAA + Anisotropic (~25fps), Guild Wars (~23fps), etc

i don't remember exactly, but i wen't to BIOS and changed a couple of things, since this i think i f**** up my graphic card.

I also wanted to know what is Video Cache Memory (UC/USWC) in BIOS, i should let Performance Control and FastWrite Control {enable} or {disable} on BIOS? (what's the better option)

Oh! i didn't Overclock my graphic card. Clock is set as 400Mhz (Memory) and 560Mhz (GPU) - default clocks.

My specs are:
Asus A7V600-X VIA KT600
Athlon XP 2600+ Barton @1917Mhz
2x 512DDR RAM PC3200 (400Mhz) //i'll buy 1x 1024gb tomorrow (wednesday)
Maxtor 6Y080L0 (80GB, 7200RPM, Ultra-ATA/133) IDE

Is it possible that you changed your AGP speed somehow? It's been awhile since I've had an AGP system, but I remember it being a little too easy to set the AGP speed to 2x or 4x.

First and easiest solution would be to reinstall the drivers. Go back through and retweak. God how I miss Joint operations. Just started being too many hacks for the game. Nova just kept rehashing the lame ass code. I play Bf2142 now. Not thrilled about the cheats in there but its no where near as bad as BHD and JO. Ive turned AA and AF off on mine. mine is in my sig, 6800GT This system is getting old. I should be building a new one by the beginning of next year with income tax return..New everything here I come.

Ah rare to find a novalogic player....You get get better FPS on JO you can change the lockfps from 1 to 0 in the cfg file to unlock the FPS which nova put in their while developing. I played mainly BHD..THe cheats tore BHD nova stats to pieces.. I do miss the days when nightstalker 5 server was up, I was in 82ndAB clan which was known in the nova stat community that played mainly in nightstalker servers. BHD back in its day in 2004 were great...same when the release of JO it was pretty fun now its old and dead


As for AGP try reseting your CMOS in the bios if you think u messed something up on the AGP side..there should be an AGP switch in the nvidia panel if I remember..as well as in rivatuner there was an option where you switch from AGP modes w/o doing it in the bios.

nova games rule!! but JO i never got good FPS even with a x1900 XT and a ducl core pressy 3.2 and 2 g of ram, no matter what settings they always flew all over the place :(

haha hell yeah they ruled once.. I played DF2 back in 2001 so as DFLW....ever since DFX novas been slacking off and I kinda gave up on them
