Does anyone know if this card is capable of doing dual monitor w/ another PCI video card?

I heard that this Asus GeForce GTS isn't, I just want to make sure before ordering.

Any GTS can do dual monitors if you add a second PCI card to support the 2nd screen.

For that matter, ANY combo of AGP and PCI cards, 1 of each in a system, should work the dual-screen setup just fine. The iffy part is your OS- anything past Win95 should be ok with it.

i thought yu could only do multi monitor w/ all PCI/ i coudlvery wel be wrong that might be out dated but thats what i heard( in WIN 98 for Dummies- not to bad!)

if not how do you set that up?

I've done it a bunch of times in W98SE: just install the AGP card normally, then install the PCI card normally, hook up a screen to it, and in the display settings panel, choose the new option to "extend my desktop onto this monitor".

the dual screen options don't show up until you have two cards, so it looks like you can't do it. But it's super easy.
