I don't know the different between Network Adapter and Ethernet card
are they the same but different name?
if not, when you use these cards ?

Network adaptor-If memory serves correctly-Is the method for which you connect to the internet or maybe I should say Protocol.
Either way, you'll find your NIC under network adaptor and if you have dial up, you'll find the dial up adaptor there too!
Well, an ethernet card is a network adapter. Ethernet cards are designed only for ethernet cable.
A network adapter is more of a broad category. It can include ethernet cards, token ring cards, USB adapters (for network use), wireless network cards, etc.
They are one of the same...but not exactly if you know what I mean.
Their primary (and about only use) is hooking up to a broadband source such as cable, DSL, local LAN, WAN, etc.
