I have been looking at its cheap cousin lately..the eliminator..but now i see that directron and crazy pc both have it under $300 which is possibly in my price range lol...and ive read reviews and this freezone is one of the very best cpu water coolers out there...if not the best lol..http://www.extrememhz.com/freezone-p3.shtml I guess the only disadvantage to this kit is its strictly only for cpu and cant expand later to gpu etc..
I actually just found it on tigerdirect for $199..i got a $100 gift card for them which make it $99 out of pocket...sadly tiger doesnt carry the freezone but its little brother the eliminator...but im sure for $99 it would be a very very nice buy :P...what yall think lol

After reading some reviews on the Eliminator and even the Ram fan...both seem to have good reviews and with the gift card i have it will be a little over $100...seems like a great deal to me...my only problem is does overclocking turn up the temp on gpu very much?..my graphics card is allready hot just like it is lol...though coolit is working on a gpu cooling system as well...but it might just work with 8800gtx lol..not 7900gtx :l..

Depending on your motherboard, i think most boards these days allow you to set a defined PCIE speed without being dragged by FSB.
please post your current and after-eliminator temps/oC results. very interested to see what some people get w/ these machines.

I made a topic on another overclocking forum and they replied "NOOOO !!! DONT BUY THOSE For the price you can get one 10x better " So...ima ask him and see if hes just blowing hot air up my but lol...cause i dont believe him since in the reviews its better than just about all water coolers...hes probably expecting me to completely build it on my own...lol

Yup, he is right, for 200 dollars you can build a nice REAL watercooling system.

That can beat this thermoelectric cooler?...number one i am completely new to watercooling so building one myself is a little iffy lol

I can only make a recommendation if you tell us what you feel about a full blown watercooling system.
And yes, you can build a tec based watercooler and get way lower temps than that.
Also, watercooling isn't THAT difficult

Oh, well if there is TEC coolers...i would probably go with a bigger cooling system..i was kinda bummed that this one is strictly just cpu..id want cpu, memory, chipset, maybe gpu.

Prebuilts can't do this ;)

I hate you...(in a funny way)...now i want to go nuts and build a custom watercooling kit...just you watch..ill probably surprize myself with what i do with my case....LOL
Does Danger Den make good pumps and waterblocks?

lol. Well, I think not enough users have used the CooLit's to really know how it performs... to play devil's advocate.... and on top of that, ambient temps... if you live in a hot place like me... *shrug* , the Coolit might actually win.
but yes... if you want to cool multiple things, use water, and for $200 some, water is probably the way to go...

hey guys,
I had the Coolit Eliminator. Temps were 25/50c.

I paid 150+ shipping for mine and I would say overall it was good. On a side note, it draws alot of Amps, so make sure you have a 500+ PSU
I made the switch to water cooling
for about 100.00 more then i paid for the coolit system.

Temps are much hotter 30/64
I feel i waisted money on the switch. The coolit wasnt that great on low setting, but on med it did very well. Only think i wished was, That they included a thermal fan instead of a 1 2 3 switch.
I sent the coolit back to coolit, because it blew up..
Hey are sending me a coolit Freezone and said its much better.
Again , from someone who had / has both, I would say go with the coolit, easy to install and performs very well.....

Although I'm on Water, there's another example I think that for someone who has had both probably has a better account for performance to performance comparison. And yes, the Freezone is better.
damn you, now I want to switch lol

I think something is/was wrong with your setup Wizard, the delta between idle and load is way too high on both setups. I think you've mismatched the fans to your radiator (i.e. running what looks like Nexus or ADDA fans on a radiatior that needs a high power fan).

true... mounting? my CPU block was mounted well, and everything was running cool, one day out of no where it I noticed the temps going out of whack... I never opened the case, but somehow the CPU mount/screws came loose... probably double check? *shrug*

Dont know why my temps are so bad. I have the fans sucking air though instead of blowing. I have artic silver 5, no air in the line..
