Long story cut short, i ended up buying enough parts for two loops instead of one. I'm already over budget, so i need to complete my loops as cheaply as possible without sacrificing too much performance.
all my parts are 1/2".
need
1x 775 block(for q6600 come 7/22) and 1x AM2/940 block(for x2 3600 brisbane)
or
2x universal cpu blocks (prefered).
since the x2 doesn't run that hot, i might be able to get away with a cheaper block, but i heard q6600s are real hot...:bang head
any good recommendations? perhaps a e-tailer that sells it for cheap?

The Apogee GT is a killer universal block. You can get it at jab for $46.

i'm weighing two options.
both about the same price via various forums.
storm rev 1 vs tdx which would be better assuming they fit my sockets.

seems to be 3/8". all my stuff are 1/2" but i do have both 1/2" and 7/16" tubing, will 7/16" work with 3/8" barbs?
if i could get a storm rev1 or tdx universal mount for the same price as the white water (35ish) which would be best?

No. In a pinch, you could use it with 3/8" to 1/2" adapters, but then you'd have to buy those and a foot of 3/8" too.

From those three, I'd take the Storm.
