Hy, I'm about to upgrade my father computer, and I'm about to choose an ATI 1650Pro 256mb GDDR3 memory as a cheappo and good performer upgrade to his ending agp mobo...
I just need to be shure it supports 1440x1050 resolution... Can any one check in windows in the "List all suported modes" tab to tell me if it just can??
It;'s the motive of the upgrade... Thanks...

PS: Upgrading in a Foxconn 661mx mobo with cheapp things... Will ad 1gb to the 512mb of Ram, change the celly prescott 2,133 for a Nortwood P4 2,66 512k 533mhz used i found here, and ad the videocard ofboard x1650Pro, since it runs onboard... The FSB is tested stable at 150, so I think it will be a nice cheappo upgrade to handle vista maybe... Papas gonna fly!

I had a 1650 pro turbo (factory OC'ed). I won it in a contest :)

Nice little card. I ran it at 1440x900, I'm sure it could push more. I ran oblivoin at that res with HDR and everything on medium. Got 15 FPS..

HL2/source games I'd get 20-30 FPS max setting, no AA but HDR.

My x1650 overclocked to 730/940 and i'm using the fatality zalman cooler on it with a agp voltage of 1.6V. It's the perfect middle of the line ATi card for an old 32 bit system on agp port. If you already got PCI-X and 64 bit unit, i'd go for the higher end unit though. I love my card though, but I use to have a 9800 pro so I might be a bad comparison hehe but it owns FEAR and WOW.:attn:

Yeah man no trouble at all. It's altogether a decent card for 170ish. Still gonna need like a good 50$ heatsink to get some decent gpu mhz out of it. Do enjoy
