OC Piii 1EB @1,2+ ; pls help

What I need get better to higher O/C?
Better fan? My load temp is 46C with allday running SETI.
Better RAM? If I run at 4:3:1 at for example 169fsb and 127mem, my pc will freeze. Is this because of high temp? Ram would be fine, wouldn`t it?
Better anything else?

Even with the +/- PCI clock feature, are you still running the PCI bus at 42 when running at 169mhz FSB? If you are, I'd guess something on the PCI bus is crapping out. On the other hand, 46C is towards the upper reaches of load temps for the cD0 P3. A better cooler could help. I was able to squeak some mhz from my chip through a proper burnin (http://people.freenet.de/s.urfer/conditioning.htm). The thread discussed was here (http://forums.overclockers.ws/vb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=47401). I managed an extra 2mhz out of my bus (25mhz overall) which added stability to my underclocked PCI bus and saved my overclock.

Just a few ideas, there are more possibilities, but I'd attack the most common things first... heat is the enemy.
