Edit: And it hasn't been delayed a year either! DAMNIT FUDGE! They got any tabloids up there in Canada? It's release has been pushed back to EARLY 2008. Which would indicate a six month or less delay.

IGN lists the release at March 2008 - 8 months away. A shame for PS3 owners looking for this in '07.

well if you do get a ps3, you get a good blu ray player as well as a great folder.

So the PS3 will have three uses now! :p

It's not delayed a year it is delayed a few months. This was also already said in the E3 thread but many it deserved its own.

Thats one game I'm not playing, I guess. Blu Ray or no Blu Ray, I aint touching Sony again.

I think Sony needs Gran Turismo and fast. That seemed to be the game that really got the PS2 rolling. The MGS series is just getting too weird. Even for me. They're fun, but I don't really mind that it got pushed back.

If GranTurismo came out (like they actually redid it, not just the graphics), I'll be there for opening night!!! I've played and "beat" them all 8)

LOL yup they completed the tri-fecta they can go home now, next generation it'll do four things.

This hurts to 360 owners who I think at this point though it was for sure getting brought over...I was never a MGS fan but it is a hit series....although PS3 owners have been waiting along time for a poster child and looks like they have yet a ways to wait.

and in responce to PS3 needs Grand Turismo to come out...true it's a big title but I don;t know if a racing game is a system seller....I saw the video for GT prologue whatever that is...sounds like a beta release of something...I know GT HD was a big who cares.

If you are true MGS fan you should know by know that this is the last game in the series ;)

Anyways, this game itself is worth buying PS3 and to quote Ricky Bobby on a similar note "This game won an award for best game ever made" :D

From what I understood, it was the last MGS game that Hideo Kojima was working on. It may not be the last MGS game ever.

Gran Turismo 3 is the reason I bought my japanese ps2.
