Hi everyone, I'm about to build my first watercooling system, I just bought the following lot of watercooling equipment:

1. OCWC Copper Polyblock w/ mounting hardware(AMD Socket A only)
2. Aluminum BeCool crossdrilled watterblock w/ mounting hardware (AMD or Intel Socket)
3. Copper 2Cool crosdrilled waterblock w/ Mounting hardware (AMD or Intel Socket)
4. D-tek copper Sidewinder waterblock
5. BeCool Aqua Coil Radiator
6. 2 - 120x120x35mm Delta Fans (12v .9a)
7. roughly 15 foot of 3/8" vinyl tube
8. 80watt TEC Peltier with Molex connector
9. Copper Cold Plate
10. D-tek Dual Radiator
11. BeCool Dual Radiator
12. BeCool Copper crossdrilled waterblock (AMD or Intel socket) 13. BeCool Pump-Resovour combo.

So, I've got 5 waterblock in total and 3 radiators. I'm so excited I could pee my pants! BUT I need to know what I should use. I know I'll be using the BeCool Aquacoil but I figure for the waterblocks the aluminum BeCool is out so now I need to decide which 3 of the other 4 are the best. I'm going to have a block on my CPU, my Videocard, and my Mobo Chipset. I don't know what to go with though. I'm torn for what I should put on the cpu, I'm thinking either the OCWC polyblock or the Dtek sidewinder since the others are crossdrilled and these aren't. If thats how I go then I think I'll probably put the loser of the CPU category on the video card and the BeCool copper crossdrilled copper waterblock on the mobo. Does this sound good? does anyone have experience with these waterblocks? which is the best? Should I bother watercooling the videocard and mobo? I do want to OC this thing like crazy keep in mind. And also I'm selling whats left over so should I maybe not bother putting the very best stuff on my videocard and mobo and make an extra buck sellig it over the other stuff?

My best guess would be the sidewinder from dtek.
If your using artic silver, let the computer run for a day or two. (recommended by mfg.) If your'e over 40C, try the poly bloc, and so forth down the line. I don't think two days would kill the value any as long as they were still shiny and dried out.

I'm kinda guessing here, cause I make my blocks. The dtek looks like it has the most water to copper ratio without messing up the velocity too bad.

awesome, thanks!

What would you say about the whole vid card mobo chipset thing?

My chipset is watercooled. I'm liking the stability too.

As for the video card...I don't play games, so I have Matrox Millenium G450 dual head. All I had to do for that was put some Kapton tape on the bottom of a heat sink and goo it up. Then i just squashed into the topside of my card. It works fine.

Kapton tape is a super electric tape. .003" can take 6500 volts. I have .005". It's also very heat conductive (nothing to be puting on your cpu!!) so the heatsink does it's thing on one side, and the stock heatsink has the other side. And the little bits don't short on the heatsink. It's $30 bucks a roll though.

yikes thats pricey stuff!

and my last question is, and keep in mind I do play games, which should i give priority for the better block? the vid or mobo? I really want to clock the fsb. 150+ for sure, but I'm going to overclock the video card too. which should get the nice one???

use all five, your chipest could do with some cooling, and a chraphics card wouldn't say no either

sidewinder is best, followed by becooling block and copper poly block
