Vista repair, less trouble?

One of the significant problems with doing a repair (not a reinstall) with XP is that you still get to reinstall your apps. Is Vista any better?

Yes, the Vista repair is lot smoother. I have borked my OS more than a few times trying run my mem at some ridculous speed which corrupts my raid drives. Just pop the Vista disk in , select your language then click repair. So far it hasn't failed me yet and I havent lost one of my Titan quest characters.

Good to know. I'll probably step up when SP1 comes out.
