I am real new at this, but I am trying to install a Intel Celeron 700 CPU on a P3B-F 440BX Slot 1 Motherboard. The current 366 CPU is mounted on a 370SP Rev 2.0 CPU Card Retainer, Current BIOS is Rev. 1006
When I install the 700 it seems to boot but my monitor does not come on.
How do I set this up.
HELP!

Did you set the bios to defaults first? I didn't when I installed my 750 from a 500... I had to let it boot then pull the plug so it would go into it's safe settings (66mhz fsb).

Hi Mustang, welcome to the Forum,
You have the last Bios rev, and it totally supports this kind of Celeron, so you have to set the Bios default, like just suggested, and probably check the jumpers settings on the slotket adapter, are you sure that it supports Coppermine Series Cpu's?
I hope it helps you ;)
Make sure your slotket is compatible with the coppermine, set the jumpers on the slotket to default voltage, fsb and make sure the jumper is on coppermine.
Get the lastest bios update.
And to overclock you change from the bios .
