View Full Version : Which will be better Between these chips???

Well i am going to upgrade my fx 5200.
now i have a pci express mainboard.
so according to my budget i found some graphics cards on the market.
they are
Geforce 6200 tc
geforce 7100 gs
geforce 7200 gs
radeon x 550
radeon x550 xtx

plz give suggestions that which will be better for gaming (though I have a very small budget)

none of the above.

the 2600pro 512mb of ddr2 is only 110 bucks canadian at ncix.
If you can get the 7300GT w/ 128bit of GDDR2. That'd be nice.
7600gs would be pretty nice.
the 8500GT should be pretty cheap too.

The cards you listed, aren't much better than you 5200.

You could get a 8400GS for even cheaper (probably worse, but the most expensive one on newegg is $60)

i'd try to get a bit more money; as the 8400GS isn't a gamers card.

Well, i've bought 7200 gs already
i wanna overclock it
but i don't know which level will be safer
will it bring any change in performance???
what other things can i do to increase it's performance???

well. It ain't much of a performer. Against the 5200, i bet it really isn't much better.

Anyway, to answer your question, download coolbits and make it set maximium overclock. Then sit back and relax. (playing games for a while)

If you see weird stuff, like flashes and what not, lower the overclock. Keep doing this until you see no more wierd things. Those wierd things are called artifacts. It means your videocard is unstable.
