shortcut to open only in IE

Hi all

does anyone know a way to open a URL in a shortcut with a IE regradless of what they have set as there default printer

i dont want the users in my building to have to swtich to IE for everything but there are some internal apps that need credentials sent to them that apprently can only be done VIA IE

any ideas?

Right click on the desktop, go to New -> Shortcut, browse to C:\program files\IExplore.exe, finish the steps, then go to the properties of the new shortcut created, and in the Target box, you'll see the above path including the exe. Give a space after the quotation, then type in the full http url. That's it.

For example, this is what you can try for Target:

"C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\IEXPLORE.EXE" http://www.ocforums.com
