My seagate cheetah is crawling on my scsi card. I thought my card was good, its ultra wide 40megs/s, but really hides my cheetahs speed. Sandra only show 13megs/s and I have 8.5 lat. My cards Iwill with intio chipset, but i guess soon would be a good time to upgrade scsi card.
The weird thing is, disabling sync trans doesnt slow down the benchs. There's no XP drivers for my card either, and im guessing that sync trans isn't somehow enabled. Any suggestions? I guess getting a new card is def worth it.
