I just got my machines on the go after a long period of absence from the world of DC. I was just wondering who's running what projects?

Me, I've just started on the World Computing Grid (with overclockers.com of course  cheers!)

Well as you can see, I'm running...
Climate Prediction
Einstein@Home
Predictor@Home
Rosetta@Home
SETI@Home
SIMAP
uFluids

I'm running these on about 7-8 computers at a time, and I hope to add more soon ;)

SETI@Home and Folding at home when the SETI servers are down.

I switch between projects very often, main ones that I am running are Seti, Rosetta, Climateprediction and Einstein. I also let mj12 to run sometimes when my internet connection is free.

I too switch between projects a lot. Right now I'm on my way to getting 100k in seti, then I need another 10k or so in climateprediction.net, then abc@home, then primegrid

I'm trying to get 100k in every project

I've been running SETI for a long time. I throw in a little einstien when SETI is having issues. The SETI team is soooo close to forcing their way back into the top ten. We could use a little help.

Just a small update: I just joined DIMES and its good to work along with other DC projects since it uses very little cpu power (only 2% for me maximized, and nothing windows task manager can detect minimized).

I just realised what Im doing. Im running SETI and DIMES, so when we do find aliens we can tell them exactly what to hit to take out the internet :)

I'm trying to find some more projects to attach to at the moment. I'm looking for something that will let me use my sse3/sse2 optimations and get good credit. I have 2gb of ram that is rarely used and 24/7 connectivity.

I did some rough calculations based on a few WUs completed in rosetta@home and abc@home, and was only getting 800 credits. I used to get around 2800-3000 RAC on SETI@home until the MB mess.

I might go back to climate prediction

I might go back to climate prediction

You can check Seasonal attribution experiment if ya want, they extended it again and still have some 6300WU left to crunch.

WUs are not that long like CPDN ones, Im @94% completed and been crunching it for 207hours with one core on E4300 @3Ghz.
With some help we can jump a few places on the stats list before the project goes into retirement.

Oh and one note, it uses lots of RAM but its not a problem since you have 2GBs. Around 300megs per instance.

Sounds good, once abc and rosetta finish I'll switch over.

Err, I REALLY thought I joined overclockers.com season atttribution team right after attaching. What happens to the 1000 credits that I was granted while not on a team? Do they switch over, or are they forever lost?

I think they are not lost, coz the total credit of our team is 85,968CS and the sum of credits of all members is the same 85,968CS. So I think they copied your credits over to a Overclockers.com
