I'm having some problems with my new Elsa Gladiac 920 GF3.

Nearly always when in the middle of a FPS game my computer will freeze up , usually with a repeating sound from the game.

I have to hold down power off to turn the pc off then when I turn it back on I get 3 or 4 quick beeps from the motherboard and the pc boots with no picture.
If I wait for 5 mins before I turn it on it will start as normal.

In fact if the computer crashes at all (not often) even when not running any demanding graphical apps e.g browsing and I have to reboot I always get the beeps.

I thought it might be overheating, but I have been running with the side of my case and there are 3 spare slots below the card to help airflow.

Any ideas ? Is the card faulty ?
I am running detonator 22.80 drivers could they be a problem ?

Thanks

in fact it sounds like a heat issue for me. check other components temperature on your motherboard: north and south bridges, ram and cpu etc. thats all i can help with.
i had one similar problem once but thats so general, it could be so many things man. once youre sure its not a heat issue for any component pay attention to the drivers, the sound card's for ex.
