I have been thinking about putting a water cooling system on my AMD 1.33 CPU and Asus V6800 video card (Epox 8KHA+ mobo).

What water cooling kit do you all think gives the best bang for the buck?

Thanks

danger den waterblock, ehiem pump and a old heater core or the black ice for a radiator

Are you going to get a kit with everything you need or are you going to buy the parts separately?
If you've got the skillz, you might consider making your own waterblock, since that's one of the two or three most expensive components in a watercooling system.
If you've got lots of purified water, you could go with a bong cooler. They're reletively cheap and yield excellent results, plus you get to make it yourself. The downside is that you have to refill them often, since they cool by evaporation.
If you don't want a bong, go to a junkyard and get a heater core as your radiator. They're very effective and very cheap. The only thing is that you might have to attach some nipples to it.
Get 1/2" ID tubing. You'll get more flow than with 3/8" (duh!), although if you had your heart set on 3/8", your system should work just fine.

Whatever you go with, good luck!

do this, get a danger den maze 2 from www.dangerden.com, a EHEIM pump of your choice and a Big mama radiator from www.overclockwater-watercool.com. This is if you looking to buy the parts separatly.

I think that you mean www.ovreclock-watercool.com, and I'd head on over to the vendor discussion forum and resellerratings (resellerratings.com) if I were you. I've heard some disconcerting things about them. Also, heater cores from junked cars, AFAIK, are just as effective as the much more expensive rads from places like OCWC or dangerden (or wherever).
EHIEMs are very high quality (I've got one) but you'll pay for it. My 1250 set me back US$56. If you want something cheaper, search for any threads about broken pumps to make sure the model you have in mind won't break on you.

Edit: forgot a word

yeah, i mean www.overclock-watercool.com, but i messed up and didn't notice. for someone who wants something they can just throw into a case, the big mama will do, but you can get it from www.caseetc.com also

If you want to save quite a bit of dough you can try a Maxi-Jet 1200 mag drive 295 GPH pump and the cost is under $20 (mine was $20 shipped). If you are planning on an inline pump you will have to use some type of caulking around the main seal to keep air from getting into the system.
