Will the kingmax true pc2700 ram work in motherboards that say USE 1600 or 2100 DDR ONLY in bing bold letters?

I see that this stuff is cas 2.5, in teh n00b guides they say only use cas 2 for oc'ing. Will this kingmax oc well even though it isn't cas 2?

I don't have mine yet.
I did see someone on another board post they got it to 180mhz cas2.
Cas 2.5 does not mean you can't run the memory at cas2.
I run my cas 2.5 crucial 2100 (266mhz) at 310mhz cas 2.

It's a fair question, because it's this new TinyBGA stuff, and you have to read the fine print to be sure it's going to work with your chipset. But down there at the bottom it says "compatible with all DDR boards" (but not non-ddr).

They claim a 5ns clock cycle which puts Kingmax out front as far as I can see.

A 256MB stick is only $75 compared to Mushkin's hottest, at over $100.

Corsair and Crucial are buried at sticks priced over $150, with less performance.

They stay it'll run stable CAS2 @333

With the mem voltage @ 3.2V I can run 350MhzDDR @ Cas2!

How did you get the memory voltage to 3.2V? What mobo are you using?

I am having problems getting my Crucial PC2100 past 149Mhz @2.8V. I am hesitant to up the voltage (2.9V is the highest on my mobo) for fear of cooking it. Any suggestions or thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

KingMax PC2700 running at 2-2-2 on a PC2100 board. See, it works.

I would by Twinmos PC2100 or PC2700 (the same module, different pricetag :) )

Umekami10 in sweclockers.com's forum have gotten them to 225fsb cas 2.5. THAT'S HIGH 450DDR :) :D

I would like to try tru DDR333 but my Mushkin PC2400 has been doing great. I ran a 157 fsb 222 timing for 4 months with my Epox 8K7A with no problems at all. I can even boot at 195FSB 222 but windows hates anything over 160. I believe my IBM GXP60 is holding me down to 160. I'll have to try a different HD and see if the ram can take more.

I have a ibm 60 gxp as my second hd and ran the sandra benchmark with 180fsb 1/4 pci today it didn't have a problem.
I also have a couple games on it they ran fine at same settings.
