How much can I OC my 8800GTS???

Hi guys,

I'm running 2 640mb PNY GeForce 8800GTS's in SLI and I was wondering what the max safe OC is on the GPU and RAM with stock cooling. Either that or tell me the number of passes i should be getting in the stability test under NTune (for 30 minute stress test)...

Also, my NTUNE gives me that GPU1 is at 58C and GPU 2 is at 67C... with aux fan 1 at 31,596 RPM and fan 2 at 33 RPM.. whats going on!!

it is unfortunately luck of the draw and i would not use ntune... i would use rivatuner as it is a little easier at overclocking the card and doesnt have compatability issues with vista (if that is what you have)

just keep your temperatures in the safe range and watch for glitches/fragments...

for testing there are a couple of things you can use

1. 3dMark 0X (0X being year of choice)
2. I use Video Card Stability Test (generic i know but it works)
3. Aquamark
4. Pc Mark '07 (i use this too)

there may be more but that is all the ones that i know of
