I read PS3, Xbox360, and Wii. How about a DS thread?

So me and my gf both have DS's since she got hers first and plays it surprisingly a lot more than me. I'm currently playing FF3 and its a pretty fun turn based game similar to FF5 (if anyones played it). She plays the Lost in Blue series, currently on the 2nd one.

What games are you guys hooked on? And what games are you guys waiting for?

The reason your GF plays more than you do is because FF3 sucks. (See rainless' other threads on this topic.) I'm hooked on the Phoenix Wright series, but they've been very slow to release games. Elite Beat Agents was cool too. I've been waiting for one game for so long I forgot what it was.

Eighty percent of the DS/PSP games released are HORRIBLE. Last winter they were both on a role (Elite Beat Agents and MGS: Portable ops were released more or less at the same time)

You will never be happy again if you don't. Also, you won't be happy once you do either. Because youll be too busy spending 5-10 minutes of pure frustration, ONLY to get a good 15-30 seconds of "YES! I AM FREAKING AWESOME!" then back to that 5-10 minutes of pure frustration.

That game has made me angry at my DS many a time :)

Right now I'm attempting to play through Phantom Hourglass without using a guide. I can say the game is damn fun, and the graphics are amazing.
Other games I'd recommend are:

Metroid Prime: Hunters
Trauma Center
Super Mario 64 DS
Mario Kart (especially online)
Elite Beat Agents and Ouendan
Rocket Slime
Phoenix Wright
New Super Mario Bros.

FF3 ONLY if you haven't played the Famicom version

I like FF3, so I don't see why you say it sucks? I started playing the FF series with FF2(FF4 Jap) on SNES back in 92-93 and it sort of almost brings back memories. More of when I played FF5 emulator though. Haven't beat FF7 yet though since it just didn't seem all too interesting.

Trauma center was definitely a fun game, but the end is practically impossible that I just gave up. I have beaten Castlevania POR, so I'm definitely looking forward to trying out Castlevania DoS. Definitely a lot more movement, weapons, stats, skills, items, compared to the old castlevania days.

If you like it, that's good :). Rainless just thinks he's always right about everything. Most people here learn to ignore him :)

Everybody has their own opinions. He hates Forza while I love it. He hates the Wii while many love it.

I myself have never met a FPS I've liked and think 99% of RPGs suck, Final Fantasy included. I'd also NEVER play one of those DDR or Guitar Hero type games. To each his own :shrug:

Hey, I bought Forza because of Fudge. So let it not be said that I'm not open to new experiences.

And I am always right... until proven wrong.

Far as I remember only two people out of the HUNNNNNNNNNDREDS of wayward strays that pass through The Rainless Gaming Domain have done it. :)
