Ok whenever I try to play a few games:

eg: Lost Planet DX10 and World in Conflict Beta I get this error:

This application has failed to start because d3dx10_33.dll was not found. Re-install the application may fix the problem.

Ok so I went to the MS Site and tried to re-download the latest directX and it just says:

A cabinet file necessary for installion cannot be trusteed. Please verify the Cryptographic Services are enabled and the cabinet file certificate is valid.

My Cryptographic Services are enabled....I searched around and the only ones I found were for XP solutions for DX9.

Help anybody?

Thanks, ps2cho

If you tried running the DirectX End-User Runtime available from here...

DirectX End-User Runtime Web Installer
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...38-DB71-4C1B-BC6A-9B6652CD92A3&displaylang=en

... and received the "A cabinet file necessary for installion cannot be trusted. Please verify the Cryptographic Services are enabled and the cabinet file certificate is valid." error, you may want to download the following *.zip:

d3dx10_33.zip
http://www.m3fe.com/files/d3dx10_33.zip

... and extract the contents to your %systemroot%\SysWOW64 folder ( Vista x64 ). If you're running an nVidia card, make sure you're using the latest 162.22 drivers for Vista... as improved compatibility for Lost Planet has been incorporated into the driverset.

I have Vista 32bit...so where would it go?

Thanks again Redduc

EDIT: Ran a search for the d3dx file and found some in the C:/Windows/ so I just dumped it with the similar ones and that seems to have done the trick :)
Thanks Redduc! Got it :) Lost Planet works now. Awesome.
