When you turn the FSB speed up on your mobo, dose this automatically make your Memory Speed up? Or how does it all work?

Memory runs on the speed of the front side bus. This can be slightly manipulated depending on BIOS options such as using the HSTCLK + or - PCICLK (ex.: 100MHz host clock + PCI clock of 33MHz for 133MHz if using PC133 on a 100MHz bus).

SDRAM typically runs at speeds of 66MHz, 100MHz or 133MHz. DDR SDRAM typically runs at speeds of 200MHz or 266MHz (double the data rate of regular SDRAM). RAMBUS runs on a quad pumped 100MHz bus for 400MHz (can also be run at 3 X 133MHz on some boards I believe).

Hope I didn't confuse you more.

my pciclk runs at 1x 33 if i change it to 2x 33 will this increase or decrease memory speed ?
