Looking for general emulation information for older consoles. I am buying some older consoles and don't have room for all of them to be hooked up and would rather not have the wear and tear that my kids will cause. As a collector, they are no good damaged. So I figured I'd build a PC from parts laying around and emulate the systems/games (yes that i own and hopefully I will someday own them all:D ) and run it on an LCD TV.
I am buying/have bought the Oddessy/II/300/400, Atari 2600/5200/7800, Colecovision, Intellevision, Vectrex and wanted to find some forums to get info. The ones I found via Yahoo are heavily focused on newer consoles.
Please don't stray off topic into grey areas.

Wow, thanks. I was hoping there would be emu's for them, but figured the Oddessy and maybe the Intellivision would have enough interest to have an emu developed for it.
The kids are 6 and 9 and like to play anything I tell them they can't and anything I am currently playing, in addition to their normal DS/Wii games.
So they would want to play the old systems just for the fact that I don't want them too, lol.
ps just picked up a 5200 with all the original packaging and materials for cheap off Fleabay:D
