Hi, I'm aware that AMD systems should run at 1:1 ram/cpu ratio for best
performance but I'd like to understand it a little better.
What is the performance gain or hit in approximate numbers when not 1:1?
Also, the bandwidth issues in everyday OCing, is there still a net gain in
running your ram on a divider for as high an OC that you can acheive?
Thanks, just need to know a little more detail, and all of you on the forums
are as about DETAIL obssesive as I probably am......!:)

See if these links don't help you with your question.

Post #5 refers to an overclocking guide

http://www.ocforums.com/showthread.php?t=520753

in his sig he has a link to another OCF thread, which in turn has a link to this...I just saved you the trouble of chasing links...this link is to the "Advanced Guide".

Thanks Reefa_Madness, I'm just now trying to increase knowledge on
Bandwidth scaling, learning divider usage as well as ram sub-timings.
These links are much appreciated.
I've found this divider table........http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/showthread.php?t=105798
Very helpful
