As u can see in my sig I haven't overclocked my new rig yet .
And in fact my memory is running on the normal setting in the Epox but I got :
3d Mark 2000 1024 x 768 @16bit = 10128 :D
I know 3d mark 2001 is the test nowadays and I gotta get my hand on it ...... what do you guys think of that score even without oc'ing ?? Gotta get the 32 bit ones later tonight.
ps: I think that my Gainward Gf3 in all red must be the wickedest looking gf 3 out there

it's pretty good, but 3D Mark 2001 is a more relevant benchmark.
btw, this thread should probably be in the "Video and Sound Cards" section

oops how do I shift this to another section ?

I'm not sure. I think only moderatos can do it. It's no big deal, though, so I wouldn't worry about it.

yea id like to see ur 2k1 scores, 2k is outdated, and no one really uses it nemore..
ull probly get like 6000-7000 or so on 2k1..
1024X768 16 bit on gf2 is getting 5500 on 3d2001. Had to do a fair amount of tweaking to get there on Kt7a.

I just got a 9070 a few days ago. Im very proud of that score. All I have is stock cooling on my Radeon for now cause I dont know if I want to water cool it inline with the cpu or just get a huge heatsink. Well Ill just worry about water cooling the cpu first.
I'm getting 1,000 less on 32 bit (4500).

My 3d mark 2001 score is 7488 @ 1024x768 32 bit , i'm quite happy with that as a ' stock score ' most people above such scores are heavily modified and overclocked.
I'll probably publish my scores tomorrow after work .
I'd like to see what oc'd scores will look like but my system is running too hot at least in my estimation ...... 43 - 46 (word processing etc ) and 52 degrees heavy load. I'm now very apprehensive. I gotta work on my cooling some more I think.

hmm a CakII-38 should be much better than that...try reseating the heatsink carefully and scrape off the thermal pad that came with it and put some Artic Silver

I figured the same ,this hsf is supposed to be better , one of my friends has some artic silver i'll have to beg him for a little .
