I use to have a password enabled on my account (i'm the administrator by the way, and I'm the only account on this computer) but I disabled that a couple weeks ago. Thing is, now when it boots up it still stops at the welcome screen, and I have to click my logon in order to enter windows. Is there a way to disable that so that when I restart it automatically goes into windows like it use to?

Start | Run | Type... control userpasswords2, and click OK | On the "Users" tab, clear the "Users Must Enter A User Name And Password To Use This Computer" check box, and then click OK | In the "Automatically Log On" dialog box that appears, type the user name and password for the account you want to be logged on each time you start your computer.

Another quick question. My friend asked me if there is some kind of way to disable certain programs under a guest logon. Is there a way to do that?

I would suggest disabling the Guest account which is disabled by default, and instead creating a ( Limited ) User account. Then when logged on as Administrator ( or an account w/ Administrative rights ), you can apply permissions to files or folders that are located on NTFS file system volumes.
