Are Sledgehammers gonna be desktop cpus or server cpus(like the Itaniums)?

Most likely, from what I heard early this week from some site that (I think Tom'S hardware), they are supposed to be server CPUs, in multiprocessor systems, 4 cpus or more, as the Clawhammer will take the 1 and 2 cpu systems

I think I read somewhere (Megagames?) that AMD is trying to make their new cpu's widely compatible with moboards, avoiding what happened with the SlotA T-Birds. They might try to keep the same socket layout.
