So I ordered new firestix (2 2g kits = 4 1gb sticks) 2 days ago to have more memory, it arrived today and I went to put it in my machine. First was no post so I figured that the 4 gig couldn't support the tight timings so I reset the cmos and it came right up. From then on, I played with the bios trying to get it to come up at 3Ghz and couldn't. I figured it was a voltage issue so I upped the vcore to 1.356 and the memory to 2.2V. It didn't post so I figured that didn't work. Except when I reset the CMOS using the jumper, nothing. Tried unplugging it from the wall and leaving the battery out for about 10 minutes. Still nothing. Put my old stick of ram back in and Still nothing.
Please tell me my CPU isn't fried, I don't have the money to spend on a new one right now :(
All specs for rig in sig.

Your NB might of gone funky. 4 sticks can stress the motherboard./NB

Also, just forgot, upped the NB voltage from 1.2 to 1.3.
But it wasn't heating up very much so I thought it was normal.

Hmm, unplug the psu from the mobo and use the jumper method ( add a wire from green to black pins) and fire the psu up to see if it's still working. Once the psu is confirmed to be in working order, try 1 stick only. Be sure all the power connections to the mobo from the psu are snug.
You can also try the original ram that you was using before the Firestix.

When I press the power button, everything spins up fine, just no beep or video.
Tried 1 stick of the Firestix, original Mushkin and still nothing.

I have recently had the same issue with another board (Asrock POS). Basically after CMOS was reset, its defaulting the display to PCI.
Now getting a cheap arse PCI card. RTM and see if yours states anything similiar.

Thats odd, i've never had this issue before now. It's defaulted to the pci but will still boot from the pci-e vid card every time.
Wouldn't it be kind of odd for it to start booting ONLY from the pci card right now?

Would it be a issue that I don't have the 8 pin 12V rail on my psu?
I've used the single 4 pin and its worked just fine so far.
Could that have caused my system to not work?
EDIT:
Just tested the PSU and the fans on it spin up.

I had a similar problem when I swapped my mobo and I forgot to plug in the CPU power connector. But it doesn't seem like you have been messing with other components aside from RAM and I don't see why the CPU would be damaged.

Well messing with the voltage even though people have run theirs into the ground, still just seems iffy to me. And I don't have another video card or processor to test with so... looks like im SOL for the moment...

So no one has a pinpoint for this problem? I'd really like some help with this, i'd love to get the broken part (if their is one) RMA'ed and returned as quickly as possible.

Have you tried re-seating the graphics card? Did you plug in the extra power plug for the graphics card?

Tried almost everything I can think of. Reseating the video card, ram, processor, removing the whole motherboard from the case, etc.

Anyone know of anything else to try?
Final diagnosis: New motherboard?

i didnt notice but did you try just your old ram in it without any of the new ram

Yes, i've tried every stick single, both dual channels, all 4 firestix, 3 firestix with a mushkin mixed in in random spot, still nothing.
I don't know if this makes any difference, but when I power it on now, the NB, SB, and memory stay ice cold. Normally, they get pretty warm.

Look over your board very carefully looking for any leaking caps, burnt spots, or anything abnormal. You can try and call Asus tech support. If they can't help and think it's the board they'll start the RMA process. You can get them to cross-ship if you have a credit card.

is their a price for crossshipping?
do they do a initial charge and refund it or what?

No charge for cross-shipping as far as I can remember.
They put a hold charge on your credit card. If you don't return the defective MoBo w/n 30 days or so they charge you MSRP (too much). You've got nothing to worry about as long as you follow the directions.
I did it just a few months ago w/ my old Asus P4P800E-Deluxe.

Alright, thanks, I was really hoping not to have to buy a new mobo, thanks for this great help.
I'll give them a call tomorrow and see how things go down.

Given what you have tried so far, and assuming there is no abnormal signs on the mobo of burning etc, I would recommend going back to basics. Disconnect all peripherals and just boot up with cpu, one stick of memory, graphics card and keyboard. Of course make sure fan on cpu is spinning too.

Unfortunately, tried that also. Going to call tech support tomorrow, talk through with them and see if I can get a new board.
Thanks for all the help.

Let us know how you get on with Asus mate. Id be interested to know what there CS is like.

Well I just got off the phone with them.
The CS rep wouldn't let me cross-ship since im a first time customer but was very kind about everything. I'm currently getting everything packed up and ready to ship.

Well, on the side, I ordered a IP35-E and if it ends up being better, look forward to the P5N32-E SLI in the classies, fresh from rma.
Well see how the 2 clock compared to eachother.
