title said it all.
i remember there's a little program from Windows that could maunally adjust network/internet setting, like IP info, etc. it's similar to MSConfig for basic Windows tweak. i believe it's something like, "IPxxxx" or "tcpxxxx" from RUN from START MENU.
any idea???
what it has is a feature that u could release the computer's IP address, called "IP release" from the program i believe.... that way, u could sure to get a new one.....
'cos i have a machine which has a NIC card & a wireless networking adaptor in it. both the NIC card & wireless adaptor could see all my other computers w/in the network. however, only if i connect my ethernet cable to the NIC card in order to get access to the net. the wireless adaptor can't get any access to the net. so, i thought it might b/c the NIC card (original in the machine first) grab an IP address from my router, so later when i add a wireless adaptor, it couldn't get any IP again. do u think removing the NIC card would help??
