printer friendly class/lecture/tute notes

The lecturers where i study put all this crap pictures, shaded boxes,etc. all crap. How do I get rid of it?

i just cut the pictures but have trouble changing the shading

Copy and paste into notepad, then print. That will remove all formatting - I would then copy and paste from notepad into word and clean up the formatting.

Assuming that the files are Microsoft Word, you can also use save as> .txt. In Power Point, you can use save as> .rtf.
