are Athlon MP mobile processors???? what's the difference between XP and MP (besides the price)?
The MPs are for multiprocessing mobos. From what I understand, you can't use XPs in the dual cpu mobos, but the MPs you can. I think performance-wise, they are close, maybe the XP is a little faster, but i'm not sure.

Yep, the MP's also come unlocked. :)
The MP's are used in dual processor boards, and can take full advantage of that configuration.
XP's do not, and as I understand it, AMD is not allowing two processor XP boards...

would some kind of tweak allow dual XPs? I checked up on MPs, and they don't come on 1900+

Not thus far. Also, there is a post around here lately that discusses this...

Actually they do not come unlocked but there isn't a cut between the L1"s.
