Mine does a E6600 3ghz without topping 50c under heavy load. And this is in a hot 3rd floor apartment. =\

No lap.

This thing was a pain to install though.

really good deal, especially considering how closely they perform compared to the ultra-120 extreme.

does anyone know if the tuniq tower 120 is noticeable shorter (distance from HSF base surface to very top of the heatsink fins) than the u-120 ex? I'm having second thoughts as to whether or not the thermalright will fit in my case (centurion 5)

I plan on lapping this when I get it... How long does it normally take for a nice sheen?

typical lapping jobs take 45-90 minutes. getting a nice mirror finish that's worthy of posting all over various computer forums can take up to 2 hours or more :p

just got it yesterday, this HSF is awesome, looks super cool and from all reports it's a killer performer. Can't wait til I got time to install it. egg rocks!
