LOL, very nice. Like me, at one point I was saving up for a cpu/vid card upgrade (had a xp 2400/radeon 9200pro) and ended up blowing it on an xbox :)

Ill take some pics of them and the installation process. When it came down to it i got a new car with the stock system and i had my comp already which will play bioshock maybe not on the highest settings but should. Plus once crysis got pushed back and the announcement of the 9800's i figured now wasn't the best time to buy an 8800, so Christmas will be good this year, lol. :drool:9800:drool:

Yeah I've held off on upgrading my vidcard too. Mainly because im too lazy to redo my loop. Whenever I see 9800:drool: i think of the 9800pro lol

Yea they're going to have to change the name of it or something so we dont get confused.

I'm sure their advertising dept will make it so we aren't confused. I can see the investment in audio equipment. i am an audiophile myself and have several tube amps and sources, even an amp and line out for my iPod which will give a lifetime of enjoyment instead of being outdated in a couple months. Have fun with it, and enjoy the music!

I blew some of my moving money on amps and wiring too.... $450 worth or so. Gets spendy to upgrade HD580's.

$220 in wiring?!?!?! The road noise generated in a car will far outweigh the (debatable) performance gain with (supposedly) higher performance wire. I managed to run 1/0 back to the distro. block and 4g from there to both amps, as well as the Big 3, for less than $60 (eBay and welding terminals FTW).
