4x1 Firestixs or 2x2 Patriot

I've got a Q6600 and P5K-Deluxe and was considering one of these sets. I would like to oc but am concerned about issues with 4x1 compatibility and heat etc. Anyone have any suggestions on which set up I would be better off with? Thanks

correct me if i am wrong, but i think that if you are trying to achieve higher overclocks on fsb it would be better to have 2 sticks of ram rather than 4. i am not sure what your overall goal is in this situation, also i hope that you plan on using a 64 bit operating system since you are looking at 4 gigs of ram.
