2328186 Recovery volume is not always converted to a RAID 1 volume in Intel® Matrix Storage Console on ICH9R
2140100 When rebuilding a RAID1 volume, progress status title and completion message display "Updating Volume"
2158365 Intel® Matrix Storage Console crashes if user enters more than 16 localized characters for recovery volume name
2197551 UI returns non-descriptive error when deleting recovery volume with mounted disk
2199152 Recovery volumes that auto-recover after being failed during a rebuild don't automatically continue the rebuild in the event that the rebuild is halted
2079363 Resetting any drive of a RAID 1 boot volume makes both drives appear as system drives and may hang the system - this is expected behavior

2447047 Intel® Matrix Storage Console allows eSATA HDD to be part of a RAID1 rebuild
2449514 Blue screen may occur when doing a hot plug on eSATA
2450714 Bug check (0xD1) may occur when resuming from S4 after pulling eSATA device
2450743 Intermittent loss of device attached to Port 0 when hot swapping eSATA device
2450808 Hot disconnect of eSATA device causes OS malfunction
2450850 System can't resume from S4 or hybrid S3 (w/ AC Pull) with eSATA in some configurations
2482219 S4 hangs on resume when eSATA device is removed after hibernation



Looks like this is a good news especially for eSATA hot-plug lover ! :D

You know, I'm kinda "if its not broken, don't fix it" type of guy, especially for software. But everytime after I read Intel's update on their ICHxR driver, dunno, they're so convincing and made me did the upgrade, although I never experienced any single problems they mentioned in their release notes. :shrug:

Maybe I'm lucky ? or not hard enuf to tinker with my rig ? :D

This combined with the new ASUS BIOS for my P5B-E + P5B-Dlx WiFi should make SATA Hot-Swap perfecto!

Thanks for the update, gonna have to check this out sure sounds like they fixed some issues I been having.
