Alright, I have UltraVNC installed on all of the computers in an office building with a Linksys router and cable internet.

I can connect internally to individual computers fine because I can specify each specific IP, but when I access UltraVNC from remote, I get a random machine; I am logging in using the WAN IP, but I do not know how to specify one of the internal machines from remote.

I have all of the ports opened on the router and Windows Firewalls, but does anyone know how to access a specific PC from remote using UltraVNC, what doe s the line look like?

~Thanks

My only guess would be port forwarding to the machine you want.

Port forward can specify what machine you want, yes. but that means that you need to remember all the ports, and you need static IPs

EDIT: You can also VPN in if that is possible

So, I should say have the following:
Workstation one ports 5900 5901
Workstation two ports 5902 5903
Workstation three ports 5904 5905

And then when connecting just specify the correct one?

Just setup VPN, then the remote machine can get a LAN IP and act like a normal LAN machine.

You can do that but vpn is WAY Better IMO

I would do the VPN as well. I have a dedicated VPN server at home running Win2K for this (old Gateway 933MHz). I establish the VPN connection from wherever and then can use VNC to connect to any system I have by computer name. Too easy...not to mention a bit more secure than VNC alone.
