problems with my linksys

i got this linksys 10/100tx USB ethernet adaptor, but im having someproblems

first every time i install the driver, i get like 6 illegal operations boxes and cant go online, and still happens when i remove the linksys from network, but today the illegal op boxes stopped dont know why

and 1 more Q, i want to use this on my Playstation 2 for some online play, but would it still work since i cant install the driver on my PS2?

Well u can always manually install the drivers.
1. Just go into control panel/system/hardware/device manager
2. select the adapter right click and select properties.
3. select driver tab
4. update driver
5. install from a list of specific location
6. select where the drivers are at, ie floppy
7. install em
8. reboot
9. BOOYAH!! sit back and start surfing!! :D

i did install the drivers but when i did thats when my PC got freaky, so i removed it and it still did that then it stopped, not sure if i want to try installing it again...:eh?:
