Chimei 221D?

I've been shopping around for a new monitor. Does anybody have any experience working with CHIMEI CMV 221D-NBC? How does it compare to Samsung 226w and other more well known brands?

cant say, just ordered a Samsung 226w last night.... I as well was looking into the CHIMEI CMV 221D-NBC and a couple of other viewsonics, but after reviewing the specs and several customer reviews, I decided to go with the samsung, it has a lower response time and personally i think it looks a lot nicer than chimei..

I don't understand why people buy 22" monitors. They all have the horrible 6 bit TN panel and they are the same resolution as their 20" counterparts.

C'mon, today's TN panels are not that bad: just look at how many TN LCDS are rated 100+ times for an average 5 stars on newegg. Clearly the average customer doesn't think they are horrible.

I have that Chimei and I love it. I have not tried the Samsung so I cannot compare.

I game on this monitor and the colors for games, photoshop, and movie watching are great. I love the size compared to smaller 20" monitors and the response time is good. I don't notice ghosting anymore, although I did for about the first month or so that I used it (after switching from CRT).
