Installing Flash Player??

I just finished installing windows and I'm re-installing all of my software and programs. For some reason I always have trouble trying to install Adobe flash player!!! Not just on this computer but probably my last few builds I've been having problems installing the software. I was trying to go to Asus's website to get some drivers but if you don't have a flash player installed you're not getting in. Is there an alternative to Adobe?
