Im looking into buying a Glaciator II for my comp, but I have a question. I have the A7A266 mobo and I heard from someone that the glaciator wont fit on the board because of a capicator by the DDR slots. Can someone tell me if it will or if it wont. My CPU is currently running at about 60-70C and i need to cool it down. Im running a T-Bird 1.4 with a stock HSF. Thanx

Call the ppl who make the Glaciator. or try Asus.

Get the dimentions of the new HS and measure your mobo. if all else fails.

I just ordered a glac II to put on an old a7a266 of mine and it does NOT fit. I have to either take the dremel to the hsf or take off the cap and solder it back on. Since this is going to be a Christmas present for someone I'll probably have to break out the dremel :(

/em has lost all respect for Asus because of this.

Edit: Oh the irony, I haven't checked the boards in awhile and the glac II//a7a266 problem was the reason I came here, to see if anyone had thought of anything other than what i mentioned in the post. Too bad I haven't seen anything :(
