Is it worth $100 for an Audigy Drive?

I've noticed that the biggest difference between the Audigy Platinum and the Audigy Gamer/MP3+ is that the Platinum comes with an internal drive. Is it really worth spending an extra $100 just for the drive? All it seems to be is a little extra convenient in comparison to the Gamer or MP3+.

All depends on if you want to hook up you DVD or things like that to it. If you already have a home 5.1 surround sound then just get the Gmaer or the MP3.

or if you want the connectivity, scrap the audigy platinum, and save a lot of money by getting the hercules gametheater xp, i've got it, and i've had the audigy platinum, the gametheater gives you the same/better sound quality-depends on your ears i guess-with the great connectivity the platinum offers.
