Hey All
I have a Compaq Presario R4125CA and want to put a bluetooth module in my laptop. I have already opened it up and seen where the bluetooth will fit and where it will plug in. An earlier verion of my laptop has bluetooth but not the version that i bought :shrug:
So my question is the original module that came in the R4000 laptop i am assuming is a bluetooth 1.2 module. So I want to know if i bought a 2.0 module if that would work in my laptop?
As i said earlier I open my laptop and seen where the module goes and the socket it plugs into. This socket is an 8 pin and the module is secured with one screw on opposite corners (so 2 altogether).
Are all bluetooth modules that are made for HP/Compaq laptops use the same sockets/plugs?
Oh BTW will pc 3200 work in my laptop if my laptop is only rated for pc 2700?
