View Full Version : If you play Quake 3, read this
If you play Quake 3, download the DLL's from here (http://www.overclockers.com/tips752) and install them. I got a 60 FPS increase by using them!
They're only for AMD users, though

300 FPS.. something seems wrong about that...
Thier are larger resolutions than 640x480
oh, and 32 bit colour does look better than 16 bit :)

GEFORCE 3 TI 200 overclocked and peltercooled with a waterblock
and a 1600+ running at 2000+ and my setup is 32 color 1024 x 768 running trilinear and i get a little over 300 on some servers... nothing is wrong everthing is right and that is what i get.. i hear some people get 400 to 500 maybe something is wrong with yours.
wow, nice cooling for it, im runnin my standard (for now) gf3 ti200 and get 200+ tho capped at 125fps.
What settins u got your ti200 on, cpu speed = ?? memory speed = ??
How much did all that cooling cost ya ??

cpu is at 310 memory is at 530.. For the gpu and memory on the vid card right.. those are it i break it in for a week or so then i try to raise is again 10 to 15 mhz.. i will post my final results when i can't go any higher.. And the cooling didn't cost much i have a watercooling kit from overclockershideout.com from them i bought a z4 block a motherboard block and the aqua sink for gf3 cards plus a 2 72 watt pelter and a 156 watt and i bought a silver/copper coldplate from becooling 50$ omg ALOT of money for coldplate but works better then just copper or just silver.. i spent a total of about 300$ for cooling but not much if you consider that the vaporchill is like 600$ to 800$.. I am going to build my on vapor unit and save alot fo money.. that is another story tho

the DLL's that come w/ Quake 3 are already compiled for Intel systems (I believe that they're written in ASM - Intel Assembly Language).
