Network Printer Drivers

I have a HP6940 and its attached to my switch on the network. It seems everytime i want to install the printer on a system i need the CD. Is there anyway to host the drivers on the server? Like when you have a USB printer and its shared on the network though the computer it is connected to?

btw im using W2K Adv Server and XP client systems.
