I tried searching around here, but no luck. Is there a good wifi wireless network configuration utility? The software utility that came with my wifi card is fine, but the interface is annoying and hard to navigate. I don't want to go back to Windows Zero Configuration.

The Intel Pro Wireless configuration on my laptop is nice, but I don't think that will work with my non Intel PCI wifi setup.

Can anybody help me out? Thanks! :)

i dunno of any like generic wifi adapotor software... but you definetly dont want to use Wireless Zero config... as every 2 minutes it stops all trafic to survey the area for hotspots regardless if your connected or not to your AP... in other words dont use it and disable it!

Yes I do not like, that's why I don't use it. I disabled it, but the icon is still in the bottom right of the taskbar. How do I get rid of it?
