Can you not set the DRAM clock to 100Mhz in the bios. You can also try slow down the CAS timing to 3.

From my past OC experience, the Windows Protection error is from overclocking your CPU too high, not the memory. I've seen this error when I was overclocking my PIII. I also run into this several days ago, when I OC my AthlonXP 1700 too high. I can do 1650 (11x150) very stable. But when I do 1672 (11x152) I get the Windows Protection error right before Windows comes up. Now, I know my memory (Crucial P2100) can do 155 CAS2 and 166 CAS2.5 easily. I run it at those speeds all the time with my old unlocked Athlon 1.2. So I tend to think it's the overclocked CPU that gives this error.

Don't think its the memory, what is the CPU temp/voltage? I have the same problem before, I solve mine windows protection error by watercooling the CPU and a stronger power supply.
