Try some freezing spray, but be VERY careful, it can also ruin your card. You can get this at Radio Shack

There a several ways. If the glue holding it down is weak, you can simply pop the hsf off by putting a credit card underneath it then pushing a knife into the grove and levering it off. Do that for each corner and it should pop right off.
If however you have a hsf with good glue or a more expensive gfx u dont want to risk then listen up. Pop the card in a air tight bag and slip it in the fridge for a while. When ready, repeat the above process. Remember to leave your card out to dry for a day or so if it receives any condensation.
I've done this three times on different cards. Only one did i need to do the fridge thing for. I find scraping the TIM off after a pain in the a$$
good luck :)
