Help

I have recently suffered from mouse and keyboard freezing. I have reformatted and introduced software one at a time, but still cant get a result.
I have a 750 Duron with tnt2 graphics card.

There's a couple of things you can check.

Look at the IRQ's for conflicts. These two devices should have their own IRQ's.

Try replacements? (borrowed)

If they are USB items, have you added any new devices? Update your USB drivers lately?

Change operating systems?

If they use the regular PS2 ports, a program crash effects both of these at once, even though they use different IRQ's than each other. Add any new programs? Try disabling the anti-virus? I don't like to let mine run in the background cause it loves to cause faults in other programs, and Windoze points to them instead of the anti-virus when it crashes. (if it tells you anything at all)
