I have just recently established a new water cooling loop in my new rig and noticed (about a week after it was completed) that there is a collection of white matter forming here and there. I am currently using Fluid XP + EXT with the PT Nuke biocide additive. I put in more than enough biocide.

Is this normal or am I missing something (i.e. other additives?)?

Might be a precipitate because of a reaction between additives, but it doesn't sound like biological growth to me. Are you using water as well, or just Fluid XP?

any pictures of the white stuff? i've had white looking matter growing in my loop b4 i added nuke so may b i can tell. also, is it growing in the coolant? or just above the coolant? if its just above the coolant, it probably is algae. all u gotta do is fill up the loop so that its under water or just put water in that area for a minute of 2, let the copper sulfate do its thang.

Sounds like you didnt use distilled and have calcium precipitating out.

Actually, I'd say it is the Fluid XP. The pump I had sheared my fluidxp and I had the exact same thing floating in my radiator and stuck to the inside of the tubes.

I've read that using more than the recommended amount of PT Nuke can make your coolant strongly acidic. This could cause corrosion and other unwanted chemical reactions.

i would suspect that he didnt use distilled water

Did you flush the radiator?

I've never had an issue with floaties or ickies with distilled water + a few drops of iodine. However, I didn't properly flush my new MCR320 rad, and I've got some white floaties that are lifting into my res.

So I was thinking I'll just reorder some Fluid XP, drain my current loop and refill it with lest PTNuke.

What is the best way to CLEAN the inside of the existing tubing and so that I can get those whites out?

If the white stuff is slighly slimy or kinda sticky it could be bacteria...

The white substance is kind of flacky; it sticks to the side of the tubing in little little pieces. I want to just clean out the tubing and fill it fresh.

I was wondering what the best way to clean out tubing is? Distilled water for a few minutes and then drain it and refill?
